The main research equipment of the laboratory:

  • VishayMicro Measurements Photostress set for reflected light stress analysis,
  • LF / Z-2 model for reflected light with a test kit,
  • electronic compensator - model 832,
  • laser directional guide,
  • DVC digital video camera,
  • image calibration system,
  • connection interface and software of DVC camera with computer,
  • starter set of materials from which photosensitive coatings are made,
  • tripod,
  • a set for the production of photosensitive coatings including:
    • casting plate with a temperature control system
    • teflon backing sheets,
    • silicone rubber with a shaped border
    • thermometer for measuring the mixture,
    • all materials needed for the production and bonding of photosensitive coatings to the tested surfaces (except plastic materials, which can be ordered separately).

Characteristics of tests conducted in the laboratory:

Research is being carried out in the field of stress distribution analysis on structural and medical models. For this purpose, elasto-optical methods are used, both to transmitted light as well as light reflected from the optically active coating.
